Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has given an update on the future of Odion Ighalo at the club.

Solskjaer speaking in an interview with MUTV on Tuesday said that no agreement has been reached between United and Shanghai Shenhua over Odion Ighalo’s loan extension.

Okay.ng understands that the extension of Ighalo’s loan is being talked about as it expires on Sunday, May 31.

However, the Man United coach hopes that Ighalo would be allowed to complete the season with United and also win a cup for his childhood club.

He said: “The loan deal went until the end of May now, so obviously he’s supposed to be going back.

“We’re in dialogue. They’ve been great towards us, his club, and allowed him to play for his dream club.

“It’s been a dream for him and hopefully he can finish off what he started, hopefully with a trophy for us.

“At the moment, nothing has been agreed. Their league is going to get started soon so we’re just waiting to see.”
