President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu have celebrated Nigerian billionaire and philanthropist Femi Otedola on his 63rd birthday, describing him as a symbol of excellence and generosity.
In a message signed by Special Adviser Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised Otedola’s business leadership and investments, particularly his impact in the energy sector through Geregu Power Plc. He commended the businessman’s resilience, philanthropy, and role in national development.
“As you add another year, I am impressed by your story that proves it is possible to defy the odds. May God continue to bless you with good health and greater accomplishments,” Tinubu said.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also lauded Otedola’s enduring commitment to public good, highlighting his interventions in education, healthcare, and community upliftment across Nigeria.
“Femi’s heart for people is as remarkable as his success in business. His generosity has touched lives across the country,” Sanwo-Olu stated.
He noted that Otedola had remained a loyal supporter of Lagos State’s development through partnerships and social investments that align with the state’s growth agenda.
“His consistent love for Lagos reminds us of what genuine partnership looks like. I wish him more years of impact, good health, and happiness,” the governor added.
Both leaders emphasised that Otedola’s legacy continues to inspire entrepreneurship, integrity, and service to humanity.
