Tinubu Commissions Kuje Road Project, Expands Infrastructure Drive in Abuja

By Adamu Abubakar Isa

ABUJA, Nigeria — Vice President Kashim Shettima on Wednesday commissioned the Kuje Road Project at the Kuje Intersection along the Airport Expressway on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the Federal Government continued its infrastructure development push across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Okay News reports that the inauguration took place less than a day after the Vice President officially opened the newly completed Arterial Road N5, also known as Obafemi Awolowo Road, which links Life Camp Junction to Ring Road III in Abuja’s Dape District. Both projects were delivered by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The road projects form part of the administration’s broader strategy to improve transportation networks, ease movement across the capital city and stimulate economic activities in developing districts and satellite communities. Government officials said the infrastructure upgrades are designed to enhance connectivity and support the implementation of the Abuja Master Plan.

According to the presidency, the projects reflect President Tinubu’s commitment to expanding critical infrastructure and opening up more parts of the FCT for socio-economic growth. The administration maintains that sustained investments in roads and other public infrastructure will help improve access, attract investment and support long-term development across the nation’s capital.
