Tinubu Condemns Borno Suicide Attacks, Vows to Deal With Culprits

By Adamu Abubakar Isa

President Bola Tinubu has strongly condemned the recent suicide attacks in Gwoza, Borno State, which resulted in the loss of at least 18 lives and left many others injured. The attacks, which occurred at a wedding ceremony on Saturday, have been described as desperate acts of terror.

In a statement released by his spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu expressed his condolences to the victims and their families, as well as the government and people of Borno State.

He emphasized that his administration is taking necessary measures to secure citizens and will not allow the nation to be plunged into fear, tears, and sorrow.

The President vowed to punish those responsible for the attacks, stating that efforts will be redoubled to ensure that those who trouble the nation are completely removed. This attack is the first in years since Boko Haram began bombing raids across the country in 2009.
