On Sunday, President Bola Tinubu left Lagos, where he had been vacationing for the Sallah holidays, and traveled to Abuja.

Prior to his departure from the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Tinubu, accompanied by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, observed a salute by the Nigerian Army parade.

During his five-day stay in Lagos, the president paid respectful visits to the paramount rulers of Ijebu, Egba, and Eko.

Additionally, he hosted Umaro Sissoco Embalo, the President of Guinea Bissau and Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, at his Lagos residence on Saturday.
