ABUJA, Nigeria –
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday received Madagascar’s President, Andry Rajoelina, at the Presidential Villa in Abuja as both leaders moved to strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between their countries.
The Madagascan leader arrived at the State House for a courtesy visit and was welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, before proceeding to a meeting with President Tinubu.
Okay News reports that discussions centred on enhancing bilateral cooperation and expanding engagement on issues of mutual interest. Nigeria and Madagascar have continued to work together on initiatives aimed at promoting economic growth, regional development, and deeper African integration.
The visit is expected to further strengthen relations between the two African nations as they explore opportunities for increased collaboration in key sectors and support broader continental development objectives.
