Two teachers of Government Secondary School Epe, Lagos, have been accused of raping 10 female students of the school and infecting them with Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs).

Vanguard reports that the girls are currently undergoing treatment in a hospital within the area.

It was learnt that the teachers took turn to have s*x with the girls, who were discreet till one of them was diagnosed of STD last weekend.

Vanguard gathered that the girls were coerced into the act by the teachers, who threatened to fail them if they refused.

None of the students knew they were infected, until one of them was diagnosed of STDs after she complained to her mother of an unusual vagina discharge.

It was after the doctor diagnosed her of the infection, she revealed what the teachers did to her and the other nine girls.

They, however, confirmed they were raped by the teachers on various occasions.

Meanwhile, the Director of Office of Public Defender, Olubukonla Salami, confirmed the report, she added that the case is still subjected to further investigation.

“The case has been reported to us and we are on top of it. It has also been reported to the state Police Command and investigation is on.”
