VDM: Bobrisky Arrested at Seme Border Fleeing Nigeria

By Damilola A.

Popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has reportedly been arrested by security authorities at the Seme border, according to social media activist Martins Ortse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM).

The arrest allegedly occurred on Monday, with Bobrisky purportedly attempting to flee to Benin Republic to evade an ongoing investigative hearing by the House of Representatives.

VDM, who made the allegation in a video posted on his Instagram page, claimed that Bobrisky was intercepted by Nigerian Immigration Services while trying to cross the border.

“Bobrisky has been arrested this morning at Seme border while trying to enter Benin Republic to escape the current investigation by the House of Reps. He is allegedly being held by the Nigerian immigration,” VDM stated in the video.

The crossdresser has been at the center of controversy following the release of an audio recording by VDM, in which Bobrisky allegedly admitted to bribing Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials with N15 million. In the same recording, Bobrisky reportedly claimed that he did not serve his six-month jail term at Kirikiri prison, citing the influence of a powerful godfather.

The revelations sparked a probe by the House of Representatives, but Bobrisky failed to appear before the committee, citing illness as the reason for his absence.

As of the time of this report, there has been no official confirmation from Nigerian authorities regarding the alleged arrest of Bobrisky, and further details on the situation remain pending.
