We Are Committed to Reposition Niger State to Feed Africa – Osinbajo

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo says the federal government is committed to making Niger state an agricultural hub in Nigeria

Osinbajo stated this at the Niger State Investment Summit held in Legbo Kutigi International Conference Centre in Minna.

“We want to reposition Niger state to feed Africa. We have started high level discussion with the state govt on how to boost agricultural production and Agro business.

“With the largest arable land, reasonable water body and availability of manpower,N/state is the future of Nigeria,” Osinbajo said.

Pointing out that the state occupies ten percent of Nigeria’s land, he said a real treasure is hiding in plain sight.

“Indeed, Niger like most of Nigeria, is largely an undiscovered jewel; a real treasure hiding in plain sight.
