June 12: Tinubu to Address Nigerians in Democracy Day Broadcast

<President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will address Nigerians on Friday as part of activities marking the country’s Democracy Day celebration.

According to a statement on Thursday night by the Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, the nationwide broadcast is scheduled for 7:00 a.m. and will be transmitted through the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria networks.

The President is expected to speak on issues relating to Nigeria’s democratic journey and national development as the country commemorates June 12, a date officially recognised as Democracy Day.

The Presidency also directed television and radio stations across the country to connect to the NTA and Radio Nigeria networks to ensure simultaneous transmission of the address to citizens nationwide.
