The 243 Battalion of the Nigerian Army says it will hold a shooting training in Badagry, Lagos State, from June 20 to June 24.

This is contained in a statement issued in Lagos by the Deputy Director Army Public Relations, Lt. Col. Kingsley Samuel.

“The general public, in particular locals and farmers around Badagry and Kankon areas are pleased requested to keep off the entire exercise area.

“They are not to panic on the hearing of gun shots while the field exercises lasts,’’ the statement said.

According to the statement, the exercise is routine to keep the soldiers in shape and mentally ready.(NAN)
