200m-semi-final-Rio2016

Nigeria’s hopes of picking up a medal in the 200m are over, after Divine Oduduru failed to qualify for the final.

The five-time African Junior Champion and 2014 World Junior Silver Medallist, finished 7th in his semi-final with a time of 20.59secs.

Usain Bolt won the race in 19.78secs, as his bid for the ‘triple triple’ continued.

The Jamaican is trying to win the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay titles for the third successive Olympic Games, after Beijing and London.
