“Unfortunately I’m feeling my hamstring and so the club medical team will be reviewing me. Will be working hard to get fit asap.” – @VictorMoses (Twitter)

The winger suffered a scare in the win over Hull City but has indicated that his club’s medics will assess him.

Chelsea’s Victor Moseshas handed Nigeria an injury scare ahead of next weekend’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Zambia.

Moses was replaced in the 85th minute by Pedro Rodriguez in Chelsea’s 2-0 win Hull City after apparently experiencing discomfort in his hamstring, after Andrew Robertson launched a clumsy tackle on him.

The injury did not appear to be serious, and Moses himself took to Twitter to offer an update on his condition after the game.

“Unfortunately I’m feeling my hamstring and so the club medical team will be reviewing me. Will be working hard to get fit asap.”

The 25-year-old has made nine appearances in all competitions this season, and is expected to feature in the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolo in Ndola.
