President Muhammadu Buhari has paid the Risk Cautious allowance of aggrieved aso rock security operatives, PUNCH reports.

There had been reports of grumblings among the operatives of the allowance, which hasn’t been paid since ex President Goodluck Jonathan left Aso Rock.

Someone familiar with the matter however said the Presidency has cleared the backlog and has also effected an increase.

“Before now, under the past administration, we have been collecting between N25,000 and N30,000 depending on our levels. But now, the allowance had been increased to between N80,000 and N150,000 depending on our levels. This is indeed a welcome development for us.” someone familiar with the matter said.
