MMMG singer took to his Instagram to call out the awards show by complaining about his nomination in this year’s ‘Next Rated’ category.

‘Next Rated after how many years!  Please, Let’s be honest” he wrote on his Instagram.

Tekno was Nominated alongside rapper Ycee, Mr.Eazi, Humblesmith and alternative singer Aramide in the ‘Next Rated’ category of the 2016 Headies. However, it appears Tekno finds the award nomination an insult considering the number of years he has been in the music industry.

Fans have rallied behind him to support his sentiments. Many are saying he should disregard the nomination.
