The Independent National Electoral Commission is to deploy 16,723 personnel for the November 26 governorship election in Ondo State.
Also, the commission will this Thursday, commence the configuration of Smart Card Readers (SCR) to be used for the election
INEC bulletin issued in Abuja on Wednesday, said a two-day training for Collation/ Returning Officers for the Ondo governorship election will hold between November 21 and 22.
According to the statement, a stakeholders forum for political parties participating in the election and their candidates will hold on Tuesday next week, in Akure, the Ondo State capital, for peaceful conduct of the poll.
Ondo state is made up of 18 Local Government Areas, 203 Registration Areas, and 3,010 Polling Units.
It has a total of 1,660,055 registered voters.
