NIGERIAN SENATE

The Senate on Wednesday replaced PDP Senator, Godswill Akpabio with Labour Party Senator, Ovie Omo-Agege as the Minority leader of the Upper chamber of the National Assembly of Nigeria.

Omo-Agege assumed position as Minority Leader after a walkout by PDP senators during Senate plenary session..

The PDP senators walked out over the defection of Ondo senator, to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
