Nigerian female ace artiste, Tiwa Savage has been lambasted by Ghanaians after a video of her dropping their country’s flag on the floor surfaced on the internet.

The troll started after a video of Tiwa performing in Ghana emerged online, showing the successful artiste dropping the Ghanaian flag on stage as she performed.

The songstress arrived the stage with her dancers while she wore the flag like a cape, but as she started performing, she tossed the flag to the floor and several Ghanaian fans interpreted it to be a disrespect to their country.

Popular Ghanaian comedienne and OAP Afia Schwarzenegger took to Instagram to react:

“So yesterday in the afternoon i listened to some show(not promoting any nonsense on my page sorry) discussing #ghanameetsnaija …
And they forgot that Tiwa Savage dropped our flag on stage..but chose to look for trouble where there’s not…some bunch of rif raffs that call themselves entertainment panelist..that read meanings to every lil thing that is irrelevant to create problems where there’s not…
@shattawalenima performed one of his tracks (Taking Over) n apparently when it got to “Sergent Lee” he was talking about @stonebwoyb becos of the way he walked…really???Did @shattawalenima mentioned @stonebwoyb???why do you always want to paint Shatta black or make him look troublesome….Even thou Stone’s leg has been fixed do you still want to tag him with something that can happen to you today as you step out…All these people are in this industry throwing sand and jargoons…spreading lies and avoiding real issues….If u have balls..then discuss Tiwa Savage cos to me she disrespected every ghanaian sitting there by dropping our flag..And stop being Cowards..Mtcheeeewwwwww.”
