Madrid’s price tag
While Ronaldo has a release clause of £1 billion, Madrid aren’t even expecting Chinese clubs to trigger that.
The 32-year-old forward has four years left on his current contract and Marca claim that Madrid will let him leave if they receive a bid of £157.5m. This would comfortably break the world record and fund his replacements.
