Nigerian music legend 2Baba Idibia has visited the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Makurdi, Benue state, following the recent flooding.

2Baba, a native of the Idoma ethnic group in the state, decided to go home and help the victims of the Makurdi flood.

The ‘One Love’ crooner arrived the camp on Tuesday to donate provisions to thousands of families affected by the disaster.

The singer was accompanied by his wife Annie Idibia.

He is scheduled to stage a musical performance under the Benue Flood Relief Initiative.

He wrote: “Special thanx 2 my friend my brother @godson45 and @3dcarsonline 4 the love and support. Makurdi people are grateful.”

2face is not the only celebrity helping the victims of Makurdi floodings.

It had been reported that Nigerian-American singer, Jidenna urged well-meaning Nigerians to come to the aid of the flood victims through his Instagram page.
