Afrobasket 2017: Nigeria’s D’Tigers Beat Cameroon to Qualify for Semi-final

Nigeria’s quest to retain the Fiba AfroBasket title is on course after D’Tigers defeated rivals Cameroon 106-91 in the semi-finals of the 2017 edition in Tunisia.

Tournament’s leading scorer Ike Diogu netted 28 points, while Ike Nwamu, Bryant Mbamalu, and Akin Akindele contributed 25, 22, and 13 points respectively to ensure the African champions overcame the Cameroonians.

D’Tigers were firing on all cylinders as they won three of the four quarters in Thursday’s quarter final game.
