Victor Moses could be out for six weeks after he suffered a hamstring injury in Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

This means the wing-back could be out of Nigeria’s last 2018 World Cup qualifier against Algeria in November.

The Premier League champions are already without Alvaro Morata and N’Golo Kante who are still nursing injuries with coach Antonio Conte describing it as a “very difficult moment.”

The Italian said, “When you start the game without Morata and Kante it is not simple. Then another important player gets an injury like Moses.

“I hope to have him very soon, in this moment it is very difficult for us. We lose three or four players and it is a big problem for us.

“For sure Moses, I don’t know if his injury is a serious injury. Drinkwater is still out. I hope to have Morata back.”

The Nigerian was instrumental to Chelsea’s triumph last season.
