Antonio Conte says he is facing a hard time as Chelsea manager after his side’s injury list piled up in last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace.

Victor Moses limped off the pitch in the game with a hamstring injury and with a Champions League tie on Wednesday, Conte faces a risk of being without Moses, N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater.

The Italian has now admitted that the Blues must fight to stay afloat without these players.

“It’s a difficult moment for us,” Conte told reporters. “We started without Kante and during the game, Moses, another important player had an injury.

“I hope to have him back very soon. But to lose three important players – it’s a big problem for us. We must find the will to fight. This season will be very difficult – we must put in 150 per cent.”

When asked which of his players could return for the visit of Roma, Conte replied: “For sure Moses is out because he’s injured and I don’t know if it’s a serious one. I hope not. If it’s not, he’s still out. Morata… I hope to have him back for this game.”
