French champions AS Monaco on Monday afternoon announced former Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo as their sporting director.

Emenalo left English champions, Chelsea, earlier this month after serving the club for ten years. It was then rumoured that the former Nigerian international was Monaco-bound, but the French side till today did not make a statement.
