The founder of vehicle-making firm Innoson, Innocent Chukwuba, was on Wednesday released on bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The industrialist was arrested by the anti-graft agency on Tuesday after allegedly failing to honour any of the invites extended to him.

This claim has been denied by Chukwuma in a statement signed by the Head of Corporate Communications, Innoson Motors, Cornel Osigwe.

The statement said the claim by the Commission “is not factual and it tends to mislead the public and bring the personality and character of Dr Innocent Chukwuma to disrepute”.
