President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday attended the opening of African Union (AU) summit in Nouakchott, Mauritania.

The session will hold from Sunday, June 30, to July 2 and President Buhari will speak on the theme: ‘Winning the Fight against Corruption, A Sustainable Path to Africa’s Transformation’.

The Nigerian leader was accompanied to the 31st summit of African leaders by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama; Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu; and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.

Others are Nassarawa State Governor, Tanko Almakura; his Edo counterpart, Godwin Obaseki and Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Rufai Alkali.
