Motherwell have signed striker Conor Sammon on a season-long loan from Premiership rivals Hearts.

The 31-year-old spent last season at Partick Thistle, scoring 10 goals in 36 appearances for the relegated club.

He moved to Hearts from Derby in the summer of 2016 on a three-year deal but has netted just once in 22 outings for the Tynecastle side.
