UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Manchester United, over their late team for Tuesday’s Champions League draw with Valencia, which delayed kick-off by five minutes.

United boss, Jose Mourinho, complained that he and his players had to arrive late to Old Trafford for the game, due to lack of police presence.

The team bus arrived at the stadium for last night’s Champions League group stage match, with just 45 minutes before the scheduled 8 pm kick-off.

The players eventually began their warm-up around 7.40pm.
