Lobi Stars’ Player John Lawrence Slammed with Two Games Suspension

John Lawrence, Lobi Stars midfielder, has been slammed with two games suspension by CAF after being found guilty of fighting two Gor Mahia players.

The player fought in last month’s first leg preliminary CAF Champions League match in Kenya, okay reports.

The CAF disciplinary council suspended Lawrence and fine Lobi Stars $15,000 for the player’s action and a pitch invasion.

The punishment which has already taken effect was the reason the player sit out of last week’s champions league 2-1 win over South African Mamelodi Sundowns and he set to miss the next game against Asec Mimosas of Cote d’Ivoire.

The two Gor Mahia players involved in the fight, Harun Shakava and Joash Onyango were fined and suspended by CAF.
