Flying Eagles of Nigeria fail to clinch 3rd place at U-20 AFCON

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria has failed to win the 3rd spot at the 2019 African Under-20 Cup of Nations after being defeated by the Amajita of South Africa.

South Africa defeated the Nigeria Under-20 team 5-3 on penalties to pick the third position at the tournament which is holding in Niger Republic.

The match which ended in goalless draw went into penalties.

However, South Africa scored all of their first five kicks, while Nigeria scored only three.
