House of Reps passes bill ending dichotomy between HND/B.Sc

The house of representatives has passed a bill ending the dichotomy between higher national diploma (HND) and bachelor’s of science (BSc) degree holders in Nigeria.

Okay Nigeria learned that the “bill for an act to abolish and prohinit dichotomy and discrimination between first degrees and HND in the same profession” was passed during plenary on Tuesday.

Ali Isa and Edward Pwajok from Gombe and Plateau states respectively sponsored the bill which had been passed for second reading since April 2017.
