Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has revealed his plan to make a comeback to the music scene with a new album next year (2020).

The defunct EME Records boss through his official Twitter replied a fan who pleaded for him to release a song.

The fan wrote: “Who else misses @BankyW the singer? I love @BankyW the actor, the politician, the activist but please sir still give us music. 🙏 If you don’t want to do again, for goodness sake can you just make even if it’s one song a year, just one☝️ 😢.”

In a response to the fan’s request, Banky W said: “Okay, I’m gonna do at least one more album, in 2020. Not sure if there are too many ppl who feel the same as you do, but thanks for this. I appreciate it.”

It can be recalled that Banky W had during the 2019 elections contested for House of Representatives to represent Eti-Osa in Lagos under the platform of the Modern Democratic Party (MDP).

Banky lost to the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibrahim Obanikoro, who is the son of a former minister of state for defence.
