Google has released the list of top trending news searches for the year 2019 in Nigeria.

According to the list of 2019’s top trending searches in Nigeria on Wednesday, ASSU strike topped followed by AFCON 2019.

Nigerian artiste Naira Marley came third on the list with Women’s World Cup 2019 taking the fourth position.

Googlers also searched for news concerning Xenophobia to be ranked at the fifth spot on the list.
