All public sector medical doctors in Lagos state under the umbrella of the Medical Guild have embarked on a three-day warning strike in protest over the non-payment of their salaries.

The strike began at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, February 18, and will end at 8:00 AM on Saturday, 21.

The strike was announced by the Chairman of the guild, Biyi Kufo who said via a statement. he insist that the doctors were forced to take the action after several ultimatums and notices sent to the state government yielded no positive results.
