Nigeria LNG Limited, a leading natural gas company in Nigeria, has confirmed that operations at its plant on Bonny Island are still active despite a Force Majeure declared in October 2022 and feedgas supply challenges.

In a statement signed by Andy Odeh, the General Manager, External Relations and Sustainable Development, the company reassured its stakeholders that the plant continues to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) commensurate to the feed gas it receives from its upstream gas suppliers.

The statement also emphasized that NLNG remains committed to its culture of transparency and maintains consistent communication with key stakeholders on developments in the upstream sector.

It also said that the company is closely monitoring the resolution of supply challenges by all relevant parties and is taking necessary steps to ensure steady operation.
