  • 1-2 cups of pineapple juice (optional)
  • 1-2 cups of orange juice (optional)
  • 1-2 cups of ginger juice (optional)
  • 1-2 cups of sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 6 cups of water

2. Prepare the Dried Hibiscus Petals:

  • Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a large pot.
  • Add the soaked and rinsed hibiscus petals to the boiling water.
  • Reduce the heat to low and allow the petals to simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Add Flavors (Optional):

  • If desired, enhance the flavor of the zobo drink by incorporating other fruit juices, such as pineapple, orange, or ginger juice.
  • Add the chosen fruit juices to the pot and stir thoroughly.

5. Sweeten the Zobo Drink:

  • Commence with 1 cup of sugar and adjust to suit personal taste preferences.

6. Simmer and Infuse Flavors:

  • Let the zobo drink simmer for an additional 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
  • Occasionally stir to prevent any potential sticking.
