The Nigerian senior women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, demonstrated their prowess on the court as they secured a spot in the quarterfinal stage of the FIBA Women’s AfroBasket tournament in Kigali, Rwanda.

In a thrilling match on Sunday, D’Tigress secured a decisive victory against Egypt with a final score of 83-63, showcasing their dominance and determination throughout the game.

Right from the start, D’Tigress exhibited their strength, leading 18-10 in the first quarter at the BK Arena.

Their outstanding performance continued in the second quarter, extending their lead to 42-23 by the end of the first half.

However, the Egyptian team showed resilience and managed to turn the tide in the third quarter, outscoring D’Tigress with a score of 19-14.

But the Nigerian team quickly regained control in the final quarter, sealing the victory with 27-23 points.
