Nigerian music sensation Tems is back in the limelight with her latest single, “Me & U.” The song, written entirely by Tems herself, features production from Guilybeatz and Tems.

The accompanying music video, shot in the picturesque location of Malta, was directed by the talented artist.

“Me & U” marks Tems’ first solo release since her highly acclaimed “If Orange Was A Place” EP, which was released in 2021. With this new track, she continues to captivate audiences with her soulful and distinctive sound.

When asked about the inspiration behind “Me & U,” Tems shared, “The song is about discovering the real me, building a genuine relationship with the Creator, and gaining a true perception of self.”

This introspective theme reflects the depth and authenticity that Tems brings to her music.

Tems has been enjoying a remarkable year in her career. She recently won her first GRAMMY Award for her contributions to Future’s chart-topping, triple-platinum single “Wait for U.”

Additionally, her feature on Beyonce’s “Renaissance” earned her a Grammy nomination. Her talent has also been recognized on the big screen, as she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song for her work on “Lift Me Up,” the lead single from the “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” soundtrack.

With “Me & U,” Tems continues to solidify her position as one of the most influential and innovative artists in the music industry, both in Nigeria and on the global stage.

Her ability to blend meaningful lyrics with captivating melodies has won her a dedicated fan base, and “Me & U” is sure to be another hit in her growing discography.
