Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham was again on another impressive run in the El Classico game against Barcelona at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium.

Despite a roster marred by injuries, Barça put on a commanding display for 60 minutes, asserting their dominance over Madrid.

However, their unblemished run this season met a bitter end with a heart-wrenching 2-1 defeat to Los Blancos in the first El Clásico of the season.

A remarkable second-half performance by Jude Bellingham turned things around for Real Madrid.

Barcelona had started the game with fervor, leaving Real Madrid disoriented both on and off the ball. The Blaugrana exploited the spaces between the lines effectively, swiftly moving the ball from defense to attack with incisive passes.

Ilkay Gündogan’s persistence led to the opener in the sixth minute, by exploiting a defensive error to give the home team the advantage.

Real Madrid struggled initially to decipher Barçelona tactics, gradually finding their rhythm but failing to threaten Marc-André ter Stegen in the first 30 minutes.

Barçelona nearly doubled their lead early in the second half, maintaining control and thwarting Madrid’s attempts to gain momentum. Madrid, more assertive after the break, had a brief moment of danger through Bellingham, stifled by Gavi’s timely intervention.”

Ter Stegen faced his first challenge in the 67th minute with a strong save from Tchouameni’s long-range effort, but it was Bellingham’s stunning strike from 30 yards that leveled the score, energizing Madrid’s surge.

As the match entered its final moments, Real Madrid capitalized on a late chance, courtesy of Bellingham’s second, sealing a dramatic victory.

Jude Bellingham, who has proven to be a lucky cath for Real Madrid in the transfer window again salvaged all three points for Los Blancos, cementing them at the top position of the La Liga table.
