Ikeja Electric Distribution Company (IE) has issued a circular announcing a reduction in electricity tariff for customers categorized under Band A.

The revised tariff will now stand at N206.80/kWh, down from the previous rate of N225/kWh.

The circular, signed by the management of the company, assured customers that they would continue to receive reliable electricity supply, with a guaranteed availability of 20 to 24 hours daily.

In the statement addressed to esteemed customers, IE emphasized the commitment to maintaining consistent service quality for users in Band A.

However, the tariff for customers categorized under Bands B, C, D, and E will remain unchanged.

The circular, addressed to esteemed customers, read: “Dear Esteemed Customers,

“Please be informed of the downward tariff review of our Band A feeders from N225/kWh to N206.80/kWh effective 6th May 2024 with guaranteed availability of 20-24hrs supply daily. The tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E remains unchanged.

“Signed: Management.”
