A Nigerian pastor in Lagos state has garnered significant attention after announcing the suspension of offering collection in his church.

In a video that has gone viral, the pastor is seen informing his congregation that, effective immediately, offerings will no longer be collected due to the current economic situation in the country.

The pastor highlighted the rising costs of petrol and transportation, which have placed additional financial burdens on people.

He expressed that it would be unfair to ask church members to contribute offerings when they are already struggling to meet basic expenses.
