The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, has issued a stern warning to commandants, staff, and instructors in charge of Nigerian Air Force schools nationwide. He stated that any act of negligence that leads to injury or threat to the life of any student will not be tolerated.

This warning comes after the recent death of a student, Blaise Aliyu, at the Air Force Comprehensive School in Kaduna, who was reportedly punished to death by his senior colleagues.

Air Marshal Abubakar emphasized the importance of prioritizing the safety, well-being, and academic excellence of all students in Air Force schools. He urged school officials to identify potential red flags and take proactive measures to prevent avoidable incidents.

The Nigerian Air Force currently operates 13 secondary schools and 21 primary schools across the country, with a total of 11,177 students and 13,758 pupils, respectively.

The Chief of Air Staff’s warning aims to ensure a conducive learning environment and the overall development of students in NAF schools.
