The Kano Police Command has initiated a house-to-house search operation to recover items looted during the #EndBadGovernance protest in Kano. The protest, which began peacefully, was hijacked by suspected hoodlums who embarked on a looting spree, targeting stores, houses, and government establishments.

The police have arrested over 400 suspects and recovered some of the looted items, including furniture and electronic goods. The search operation is ongoing, with police personnel raiding homes in affected areas, including Yakasai and Durumin Zungura in Kano Municipal.

The Kano Police Command further reiterated its commitment to ensuring that perpetrators of the mayhem are brought to book.
