Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has announced that its digital banking channels are now back online after a recent system upgrade.

In a message shared with its customers, the bank confirmed that services across all digital platforms and branches nationwide have resumed, following fine-tuning efforts aimed at optimizing the customer experience.

GTBank reassured its clients that they are continuing to work behind the scenes to further enhance the system’s efficiency.

The message emphasized the bank’s dedication to ensuring a high-quality and seamless banking experience.

“We are at work fine-tuning and optimizing our new systems to ensure that the quality of your service experience with us is significantly enhanced,” the bank noted in the communication.

The update follows earlier notifications regarding the transition to a new, robust Finacle Core Banking Application System.

The upgrade caused some temporary disruptions, with branches and services initially scheduled to resume operations at 9:00 a.m. but later delayed to 12:00 noon.

As of now, all banking channels, including branches, are fully operational.

GTBank thanked its customers for their patience and support during the transition, acknowledging the challenges that some customers may have faced during the period of service disruptions.
