One of the deadliest strikes occurred in Dobropillia, a city in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region. The assault also caused extensive destruction, damaging eight buildings and over 30 vehicles.
Another targeted attack struck the town of Bohodukhiv in the Kharkiv region, where a drone strike resulted in the deaths of three civilians and injured seven others. The growing use of drones in combat has intensified concerns about the vulnerability of Ukrainian cities to Russian offensives.
President Zelenskyy strongly condemned the wave of attacks, describing them as acts of terror. He reiterated Ukraine’s urgent need for stronger air defense systems and appealed for stricter international sanctions against Russia to curb further aggression.
