Trump Administration Orders Biden-Era Migrants to Depart US

The United States, under President Donald Trump, has issued orders for migrants who entered the country via the Biden-era CBP One app to leave immediately. This directive follows the official termination of the app, which had facilitated appointments for migrants at U.S. border entry points since January 2023.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has confirmed that formal notices have been sent, instructing affected individuals to voluntarily return to their home countries using the CBP Home App. Failure to comply will result in deportation and a permanent ban from re-entry into the U.S., officials warned.

The cancellation of the CBP One app, which aimed to manage immigration in a more orderly and humane manner, is expected to impact over 930,000 migrants. This move aligns with Trump’s campaign promises to enforce strict immigration policies and deport undocumented individuals.
