Former Nigerian football captain Sunday Oliseh has issued a strong message to Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, emphasizing the urgency for the forward to secure a move to the English Premier League. Speaking on social media, Oliseh highlighted the critical juncture in Osimhen’s career, warning that hesitation could lead to lasting regret.

“Victor Osimhen is at a very delicate crossroad. He needs to find his way to the Premier League in a hurry or he risks so much regret! Man. United and Arsenal need this player if only…..” Oliseh wrote on his X handle.

Okay.ng reports that despite Osimhen’s impressive scoring record and Napoli’s recent reduction of his release clause to €75 million, the anticipated Premier League transfer remains uncertain. Interest from Manchester United and Arsenal appears to have cooled, with United reportedly turning their attention to Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed that Turkish club Galatasaray has emerged as a leading contender, having made a formal offer and reached personal terms with Osimhen. Napoli, however, insists on a full one-time payment of the release clause.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal is monitoring developments and willing to meet Napoli’s financial demands, but Osimhen reportedly prefers to continue his career in Europe.

Fabrizio Romano, a respected football transfer expert, noted that Manchester United’s chances were slim from the start due to Osimhen’s wage demands and his positive experience during a loan spell in Istanbul.
