Big Brother Naija Season 10 winner, Imisi, has opened up about the challenges of adjusting to life after the reality show, admitting that fame has come with pressures she never anticipated, particularly the constant demand to appear glamorous.
Imisi, while speaking at a recent public event, shared that one of her biggest struggles since leaving the BBNaija house has been the expectation to wear makeup frequently and maintain a picture-perfect look at all times.
“I’d say having to put on makeup each time I step out, maybe for an event like this, really isn’t my thing. I don’t like things on my face, and I even hate hairs on my body,” she said.
The reality star explained that she has always been someone who prefers a natural and simple look, describing the new lifestyle as something she’s still trying to adjust to.
“So this is something I really need to adjust to. Honestly, I think I look good without all that, but because of what you’re trying to portray and how people expect you to appear, you’ve got to keep your hair, makeup, and nails done,” Imisi added.
