The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a clarification confirming that the schedule for its ongoing computer based test (CBT) remains unchanged, dismissing speculation about any modification to the examination timetable that began on November 12, 2025.

In a statement posted on its official X handle on Saturday, the Board reassured applicants that the recruitment test will conclude as originally planned on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.

According to the clarification, “The dates for the ongoing CBT which commenced last Wednesday 12th Nov 2025, and is to conclude on Wednesday 19th Nov 2025, remain unchanged. Applicants are to note that the test will be conducted exclusively online according to the date and time selected.”

The announcement comes amid rising online inquiries from candidates concerned about possible adjustments following earlier system related challenges.

Okay News reports that this recruitment cycle has drawn significant national attention due to the volume of applicants and the fully digital nature of the assessment.

The Board emphasised that all applicants must adhere strictly to their individually selected exam windows, as the CBT platform is configured to operate purely on the pre registered schedule.
