Phil Foden scored in the opening minute and then struck again in stoppage time to give Manchester City a thrilling 3-2 victory over Leeds United at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

City appeared in full control at half-time, leading 2-0 thanks to Foden’s early strike and a Josko Gvardiol header from a corner. However, Leeds mounted a determined second-half comeback, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Lukas Nmecha turning the game on its head to level the score at 2-2.

Despite Donnarumma saving Nmecha’s penalty, the rebound allowed the former City striker to score, intensifying the drama. With the game entering added time, Foden’s superb solo effort—cutting inside from the right and firing into the bottom corner—finally broke Leeds’ resistance and sent the Etihad crowd into jubilation.
